ABC report: “Foreign Minister Penny Wong has sought further evidence that UN aid staff were involved in the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, admitting she does not yet have all the evidence to hand. Australia and other countries including the US, UK, Switzerland and Germany paused their funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) after the agency announced it would investigate Israel’s allegations that 12 of its 13,000 staff played a part in the attacks or had links to Hamas.”

12 of its staff? Out of 13,000?

135 UNRWA staff members are known to have been killed in Gaza since October 7th. Seems their sacrifice meant nothing to a Labor Party intent on pleasing an Israeli ethnostate accused of Genocide. Then there’s the 27,840 murdered by the IOF (as of 8th February ’24). Many of them children.

Also of little consequence to a Labor Party more concerned with the hurt feelings of Israeli/Zionist/Jewish (take your pick) lobbies, wailing about inconsequential “antisemitism“.

ABC Report continued: “British news outlet Channel 4¹ cast doubt over the allegations, reporting a dossier Israel provided to the UN to support its allegations contained “no evidence” to support the claims. Wong should never have acted without concrete evidence, that’s how Australia got itself involved in the Iraq war. In this case, a decision to pause funding was always going to increase hunger amongst innocent, starving Palestinian children. Wong was fully aware of the suffering Australia’s decision would cause. She continues to drag her feet to aid Israeli ambitions.

US intelligence casts doubt on Israeli claims of UNRWA-Hamas links, report says

Israel has not “shared the raw intelligence behind its assessments with the US”.
In addition, the report notes Israel’s dislike towards the UNRWA, two sources familiar with it told the Journal.

“There is a specific section that mentions how Israeli bias serves to mischaracterize much of their
assessments on UNRWA and says this has resulted in distortions,” one source reportedly said.

UN agency accuses Israel of detaining, coercing staffers into false confessions about ties to Hamas

Tel Aviv, Israel CNN — The UN agency for Palestinian refugees on Monday accused Israel of detaining and torturing
some of its staffers, coercing them into making false confessions about the agency’s ties to Hamas.

“Some of our staff have conveyed to UNRWA teams that they were forced to (make) confessions under torture and
ill-treatment. These false confessions were in response to questioning about relations between UNRWA and Hamas
and involvement in the 7 October attack against Israel,” UNRWA spokeswoman Juliette Touma said in a statement.
