Accusations of anti-Jewish hate speech (“October 7 denial”)<\/span><\/h2>\n

Chip’s article, Broadcasting doyenne accused of anti-Jewish hate speech<\/span><\/a> with its bizarre subtext that “October 7 denial” is some sort of blasphemous assault on Judaism comparable with Holocaust denial, reads as a warning to journalists. Speak up about Israel’s war crimes and genocide and you too will be punished.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Chip: “The Human Rights Commission complaint against Kostakidis is under Section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act… this provision has been used previously by Jewish people and groups against Holocaust deniers.”<\/span>

\n“This masthead<\/span> last week<\/span><\/a> documented the phenomena of October 7 denial<\/a><\/span>, where prominent pro-Palestinian supporters such as Kostakidis have sought to minimise, qualify and otherwise deny what Hamas and other armed Palestinian groups did when they attacked communities in southern Israel.”

An accusation undermined by the Jewish people<\/a><\/span> who are also questioning the events of October 7, and who believe the mass slaughter<\/a><\/span> of Palestinian people and the levelling of Gaza (Genocide and Domicide) is the real perversion of Jewish values and Holocaust remembrance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chip: “In an email response to questions from this masthead last week, she defended each of her claims and maintained her scepticism that women were raped on October 7.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms Kostakidis (and indeed this scribe) has made it clear she is referring to claims that Hamas “organised” and used “mass rape” as a weapon of war. She has not discounted the possibility that rape did occur on October 7. Chip’s “inaccuracy” speaks to his bias. There were also other Palestinian groups<\/a><\/span> besides Hamas involved in October 7.<\/span><\/p>\n

Questioning Israeli reports about October 7, promulgated widely by a mainstream media with such an appalling history is hardly the “phenomena” Chip describes. It is an entirely logical position<\/a><\/span> for any competent journalist to take. Disinformation<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> and propaganda<\/a><\/span> are an integral part of Israel’s intelligence agencies and Israel has a long history of monitoring the media<\/a><\/span> to ensure compliance with pro-Israeli agendas.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026the aim is to make journalists and editors decide that, even if they have a legitimate story that may criticise Israel, it is simply not worth running it because it will cause \u201cmore trouble than it\u2019s worth\u201d<\/em>. As Agence France-Presse correspondent Philippe Agret says,<\/span> the aim is to \u201cexhaust\u201d journalists and editors<\/span><\/a> so they think twice before writing anything critical of Israel\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chip’s “October 7 denial”<\/span><\/h2>\n

Chip’s matter-of-factness about “October 7 denial” is an absurdity, especially when we know the intent this <\/span>invention serves. We understand that innocent Israeli people were killed on October 7, but to labour this point at the expense of the innocent Palestinians currently being slaughtered in <\/span>far greater numbers<\/a><\/span> by Israel, is illogical and designed to deflect from that grotesque reality. The Zionist “internal logic” that Palestinian deaths are not to be equated with Israeli fatalities is an obscene rationalisation and one that has always fuelled ethnic cleansing. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Nakba denial<\/span><\/a>” <\/span><\/span>which Chip faithfully adheres to, <\/span><\/span>underpins most of the narrative about October 7.

So what is next? Another addition to the IHRA’s<\/span><\/a><\/span> working definition? People <\/span><\/span>to face charges of racial vilification by the Human Rights Commission for <\/span><\/span>denying the existence of the fabricated 40 beheaded babies and mass rape by Hamas? As is happening<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Zionists seek control of the Israel\/Palestine narrative<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Zionist Federation<\/a><\/span> and others of their ilk have been busy deifying the Israeli victims<\/a><\/span> of 7 October while persecuting<\/span><\/a> and demonising<\/span><\/a> anyone critical of Israel’s mass slaughter of Palestinians. <\/span><\/p>\n

Attempts to pin anti-Jewish motives on journalists who criticise Israel, is a bottom-of-the-barrel ploy. Necessitated by Zionists being unable to refute the reality<\/span><\/a> of the Gaza Genocide<\/span><\/a> being uploaded in real time to social media<\/a><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah Wilkinson a pro-Palestine activist, arrested for “content that she has posted online” has been released on bail after being arrested by UK counter terrorism police. Her bail conditions include not using a phone or laptop. <\/span><\/p>\n

“Wilkinson has been a tireless critic of the U.K. government’s support for Israel and has posted many images of the death and destruction in Gaza, where Israeli forces have killed and wounded more than 144,000 Palestinians. The dismantling of Israel’s hastily contrived October 7 narrative was especially painful to those zealots who had given it an almost religious significance. Kostakidis, Medhurst, Wilkinson, et al, heretics, whose truths can <\/span>not be allowed to exist alongside the new Amalek mythos that drives Israel’s vengeance.

The media frenzy about Hamas beheading 40 babies<\/a><\/span> was obviously fabricated to win over public sympathy for Israel’s genocidal response. Even though debunked, those fake atrocities paved the way for the mass slaughter of Palestinians that has continued for 328 days. That is how this disgusting ploy works and has worked<\/a><\/span>, in every military action since their brutal origins.

Ms Kostakidis is being punished for questioning Israeli fabrications<\/a><\/span> of the events of October 7, widely-publicised by a compliant Western media<\/a><\/span>. <\/span>The “first casualty of war (being) truth”.1 <\/sup><\/span><\/strong>A truism that emerged<\/a><\/span> prior to WWI that has been proven correct in the many wars, police actions (and other euphemisms for war) that followed “the war to end all wars” – and undoubtedly, all of those that preceded it.

'Incubator babies' and 'beheaded babies'<\/div>

On October 10th, 1990, a 15-year old girl who provided only her first name, Nayirah, appeared before the United States Congressional Human Rights Caucus and gave a testimony which was then used by US Government and organizations as justification of the Gulf War.<\/span><\/p>\n

In her emotional testimony, Nayirah claimed that after the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait she had witnessed Iraqi soldiers take babies out of incubators in a Kuwaiti hospital, take the incubators, and leave the babies to die.<\/span><\/p>\n

The effect was instantaneous. Nayirah\u2019s testimony was widely publicized. Hill & Knowlton (an American PR firm), which had filmed the hearing, sent out a video news release to MediaLink, a firm which served about 700 television stations in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bush quoted Nayirah at every opportunity. Six times in one month he referred to \u201c312 premature babies at Kuwait City\u2019s maternity hospital who died after Iraqi soldiers stole their incubators and left the infants on the floor,\u201d and of \u201cbabies pulled from incubators and scattered like firewood across the floor.\u201d Her account of the atrocities helped to stir American opinion in favor of participation in the Gulf War.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everything was cleared up on January 6, 1992, when The New York Times published an op-ed piece by John MacArthur entitled \u201cRemember Nayirah, Witness for Kuwait?\u201d. He revealed that Nayirah (full name Nayirah al-\u1e62aba\u1e25) was the daughter of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the U.S., Saud Nasir al-Sabah.
